wolfgang tolk | biography  
wolfgang tolk studied art history and philosophy at the university of education in heidelberg, then he studied at the art academy in braunschweig, (hochschule für bildende künste). in 1981, he changed to the academy of fine arts in düsseldorf.
tolk has designed the halogen lamp "minimum" which was put on display in various european museums. in 1989, it was added to the collection of the museum of applied arts in cologne, germany.
since 1990, he has realised prototypes of minimalist, linear objects, mostly in stainless steel and wood, in addition to his work as an artist. his works have been exhibited in cologne, munich, berlin, chicago, milan, miami and korttrjik, belgium. (selection) he cooperates with italian companies such as allglas, boffi, cappellini, living divani and porro. wolfgang tolk lives and works in munich, cologne, trikorfo, greece.
